Stray facilitates a visible community of undergraduate readers and writers of poetry at the University of Washington. We host readings, lectures, performances, and symposiums featuring students and visiting writers for the purpose of sharing and socializing, while encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration.
Stray received a Mary Gates Leadership Scholarship in 2008 for leadership work in the UW community.
